Prayer for Unity Week

God of All Creation,
We ask for your blessing for the meetings during the Week of Unity for Christians. As EST faculty and staff  prepare for a meeting on January 21, we ask for wisdom with their theme of "Who is your Brother?" Please give those attending the meeting open hearts and open minds as they explore caring for others in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.  Amen.

"How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity!"
         Psalm 133:1

Loving God, we praise you for the students who recently completed their studies and defended their B.A. Thesis. We praise you also for Marek's completion of his Master of Business Administration. What a Joy for everyone and their families.

 As school leaders, faculty and staff  begin the new academic year, we pray for wisdom and unity. We give thanks for the 22 new students who will join the currently enrolled students in the B.A. program. May the educators and students have a fruitful year grounded in your love as they seek ways to serve you.

Prayer for New Friendships

Gracious God, We thank you for the relationships you continue to build between your servants in Poland and the U.S. We pray you will continue to transform lives and grow the work you have placed in our hearts. Work based in love and in service. Amen.

"Let each of you look out not only for your own interests, but also for the interests of others."

Gracious and loving God,
We thank you for those who have heard your call and have responded with a willingness to Go Forth. We thank you also for those who have been guided by you, both in the U.S. and in Poland, in planning this trip. As our travelers begin their journey today, we ask that you prepare hearts to be moved and changed for we know you have amazing experiences and relationships in store for all.

Go forth, traveler, in the name which is above every name. Be of good courage. Hold fast to that which is good. Render to no one evil for evil. Support the weak. Help the afflicted. Strengthen the faint hearted. Honor everyone. Love and serve the Lord, rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit.

And may the blessing of the eternal God,
the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, 
be upon your going out and
your coming in.

For in Christ there is no east or west, in him no south or north:
but one great fellowship of love throughout the whole wide earth.

Gracious God,
We thank you for the ways in which you empower the EWST leadership with your Holy Spirit. We ask that you continue to bless them with wisdom and creativity, especially during the upcoming May 23-25 extension classes. May all who participate in these classes feel your the abundance of your love and grace. Amen

Happy Easter

Easter is the time of victory of Life over death,

Gracious Lord, We lift up our friends in Poland and ask for wisdom and strength as they discern your will in all their many programs and outreach activities. We give thanks for the creative leadership team at EST and pray you will continue to empower them with your Holy Spirit.
